This is the IAG Performance Stage 2 TUFF Short Block. This short block has been bored and honed to 99.75mm using IAG's in-house Sunnen SV-10. The result is tighter wall clearances on the pistons to help produce a quieter running engine. Higher octane ethanol reduces knock and if you can't get ethanol the flex fuel sensor lets you just get regular gas whenever (blend or pure).I have an iag stage 2 turbo tuff block, absolutely would go with one hands down..unless you are building a straight up race car. The difference in mine and the basic stage 2 is the rods. Currently I'm on a blouch 20g xtr making 377whp/401wtq (on iag's dyno). The motor can handle more. Their 900hp uses their magnum short block for example. So I think stock heads will be your limit.
